Friends of Ridgefield Restaurants Fund

Concerned Ridgefield residents have formed a 501(c)3 fund to accept tax-deductible contributions to provide critical economic relief for locally-owned and operated restaurants to survive the COVID pandemic.

A group of Ridgefield residents who are NOT eligible to receive grants or relief will oversee the distribution of the Restaurant Fund’s proceeds.

This initiative will include a multi-pronged approach. The initial focus will be to provide grants to locally-owned and operated restaurants in adherence to the following conditions.

-
Eligible expenses include payroll, mortgage, rent, utilities, supplies, food, debt obligations to suppliers, and any other expenses deemed essential by the Board of Trustees.

-
Recipients must certify that the current economic conditions make the grant request necessary, that the funds will be used to retain workers, maintain payroll, and make other qualified payments essential to continue operating until normal operations (projected to be 3-4 months) can resume.

Please help protect our town’s charm and vitality by contributing today. Small and large donations are welcome. 100% of your net contribution will go toward helping Ridgefield restaurants.
